    Aunt Mari’s good friend, Beth Stuckey, lived on a chicken farm for years. It was more the “factory” mentality…big long metal barn, hundreds of hens.

    But, the nice thing was, if I would give Mari the empty egg cartons, Beth would fill it up for me for free! Feeding five little chicks myself, I was so glad for free eggs! 😀

    I’ve been giving them away for years, but with the recession we can’t afford to neglect the opportunity to trade eggs for chicken feed!
